OVERVIEW
The Rhema Chapel Library has been in existence for about two years and presently has over 200 books in collection. The library offers books on various topics including Christian Living, Leadership, Business and Finance, Biographies and Fiction. There’s something for everyone – men, women, young adult, and teenagers & children.

PURPOSE & OBJECTIVES

  • To encourage and promote spiritual growth of the church members.
  • To sustain and advance the Church’s work in education, lifelong learning and discipleship.
  • To train and resource the right people, both ordained and lay, to carry out public ministry.

HOW TO BORROW FROM THE LIBRARY

  1. Go to www.librarything.com
  2. Username: RCCGLibrary4us (this is case-sensitive!!)
    Password: rhemachapel
  3. Browse through the books we presently have on “Your books” page. Alternatively, click on your topic(s) of interest under “Your tags” on the home page and this will provide a list of books under that topic
  4. When you have decided on the book you want to borrow, send an e-mail to library@rhemachapel.ca
  5. Once the book is ready for pick up, an email will be sent to you with instructions on how to pick it up.

GUIDELINES & RULES FOR USING THE LIBRARY

  1. Books will only be put on hold for 1 week after notification, after which, you would have to request for it again.
  2. Books can be borrowed for up to 3 weeks, after which they are to be returned. Books with no hold on them may be renewed up to 2 times.
  3. There will be an overdue charge of $0.50/book for each day after due date. Overdue charges of $10 and above would have to be paid before borrowing another book.
  4. Books damaged or lost will be replaced by borrower.
  5. Books should not be marked with highlighters, pens or pencils.

DONATIONS & SUPPORT

  • Members are encouraged to make use of the resources provided by the library. These books and resources are provided for our spiritual, mental and physical growth.
  • Members are also encouraged to support and donate to the library in cash and kind. Suggestions on useful resources that can be included in the library are also welcome.
  • Feedback on the library and reviews on books that have been read will be greatly appreciated. Reviews may be posted on the library page.
  • Finally, we need people would are willing to join the library team. This will help us to be more efficient and serve the Church better.
