Pastor Ayo arrived in Canada in 2003 to further his studies at the University of Alberta and with a firm plan to head back to Nigeria 4-5 years later. Little did he knows that God had a plan and purpose for the journey. God used him to start Rhema Chapel, the first parish of RCCG in Edmonton and has since been the parish pastor. He is dedicated to the full-time service of nurturing and challenging believers to a life of holiness and submission to the Lord.
He is very passionate about Godly family living and helping people realize their potentials as they walk in the fullness of God’s purpose for their lives. He is also actively involved in prison ministry outreach and has an undying passion for propagating the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Pastor Ayo’s favorite sport is soccer, and he usually unwinds playing FIFA with his boys. His favorite bible passage is Psalms 1:1-3.
He is currently the Pastor in Charge of RCCG North American Region 7 Province 2, and in this role provides leadership for several parish pastors in the province. He is also the Special Assistant to the Continental Overseer – The Americas, in charge of Young Adults and Singles Ministry (YASM) – Canada.
She is never bored, there is always something to keep her going. Her goal is to know more of God and live a life of impact that points others to Jesus Christ. Her hobbies include – Baking and cooking, she also loves nature.

He is committed to teaching the revelational Word of God with simplicity, applicable to life situation and absolute authority that comes from our redeemed position in Christ.
He doubles as the Executive Pastor and Associate Pastor in charge of Learning and Spiritual Development at Rhema Chapel.
Aside from being a preacher and an Entrepreneur, he holds a Masters degree in Finance with a Bachelors degree in Economics with professional experience in the financial and Supply Chain world in Nigeria and Canada.
Lanre loves sports with favourite sport being soccer. He spends is relaxing time with family and friends, listening to good music, listening to preferably inspiring faith filled messages and reading.
His favourite scripture is Phil 4:8 finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy- meditate on these things.

Idowu has been in ministry since 1998 starting as a worker to being a consecrated minister (2001). He was ordained in The Redeemed Christion Church of God (RCCG) as a Deacon (Nigeria, 2004), Assistant Pastor (England, 2012) and Pastor (Canada,2021). Idowu has pastored parishes of RCCG in Nigeria, United Kingdom and is currently serving as an Associate Pastor in Rhema Chapel. Idowu is a graduate of the School of Disciples (RCCG) and holds a Diploma from the RCCG Bible College. He is an IT Specialist with over 40 years of experience with an MBA (Information Technology). Idowu is an ardent Lawn Tennis and football fan. He loves to listen to Gospel music and watching war movies.
He is very passionate about extending God’s love to the neglected and unwanted people in society. Hence, he is actively involved in prison evangelism in Edmonton and surrounding areas as well as outreach to native communities in Alberta. He is a board member of Malachi Dads Ministry Canada and previously served as a board member of the Chappelle Home Owners Association.
Olakunle obtained a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ibadan and a master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alberta. He is a registered professional engineer in the province of Alberta. He enjoys watching documentaries and sports. His favourite sports teams are Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers and FC Barcelona.

He has always been passionate about his faith in Jesus Christ, which led him to serve in various capacities at different Churches for over three decades. Tunde joined the Rhema team in 2012 as a member of the accounting team, became the Head of Finance later in 2014, and an Associate Pastor in 2020.
He has also volunteered at various charities, including the Rhema Food Bank, the Edmonton Mennonite Centre, ASSIST Community Services Centre, United Way of Edmonton, and his local community league. On his own time, Tunde enjoys spending time with his family, playing chess and watching movies.

At Rhema Chapel, he currently serves as the Associate Pastor of Stage, Communications and Media, where he provides oversight for the Choir, Technical, eNews, Multimedia and Drama departments. Prior to this role, he served as President of the Men’s Fellowship and the Pastor of the Young Adults Ministry.
At the corporate marketplace, Uno Okon is a Cybersecurity Enthusiast. He is a leading expert in Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity with a track record of leading the successful delivery of cybersecurity projects across utilities, mining, oil and gas sectors.
Uno Okon is happily married to his best friend, Olapeju Okon, and are together blessed with two children. He likes exploring Edmonton’s beautiful bike trails with his son and enjoys hosting friends to meals from his mobile Broil King BBQ grill.

Jeremiah, the Prophet
Adetoyese currently serves at Rhema Chapel in the capacity of the Personal Assistant to the Senior Pastor. Before this, he served in various roles, including serving as the President of Men’s Fellowship (2015 – 2020), where he touched the lives of many men and their families. He continues to pursue his passion as a Sunday school teacher and an ardent drama evangelist. His foremost heart desire is that all people would be empowered to live God’s purpose for their lives to the fullest, and he is committed to doing his part in making that happens.
Adetoyese interests include reading and soccer; he is also a passionate supporter of Chelsea football club. Adetoyese is married to his beautiful wife, Adekiitan, and blessed with two sons, Ademide and Ademidun.
